Tired and feeling the stress

After a 14 week training period I am now feeling tired and ache in my calfs. My long runs have hit 23 miles. Diet and alcohol are now coming up for being things to watch for as I need to keep my fuel intake as complex carbs, and lowering alcohol to a tapering amount with a three week dry period before the marathon.

To try to keep my enthusiasm up I am going to post my daily training and food/drink log:

After four days of miserable fever I thought an update to the page was in order. I have been out of training since Saturday due to a bad cold, that had my temperature firmly in the 39 degrees area solidly. With that and the general feeling of illness I also didn't eat much for those four days, which has yielded a half-empty/half-full scenario; namely that I have missed a half-maraton, a long run and two days of normal training - half empty scenario. But, I have lost weight, which was something i intended to do in late March, and so I must ne near my usual racing weight - half full. I have a half marathon in two weeks and am aiming for 1'20", so two weeks to get back to top fitness; plus to get my long (20 mile+) runs in again
